Creative Direction and Design for a sketch comedy web series.

I was lucky to be heavily involved in this project from the start. This short sketch series premiered on YouTube to promote artist Kit Major’s debut EP, Vampire Saturday. “KMTV” is a riff on old school music television with a quirky twist. From photography and editing to title animation and more, it was a joy to be a major part of the creative direction of this series.

KMTV Bumpers: Editing & Motion Graphics

A shameless ode to the original Music Television, these spoof bumpers were created to promote the series and bookend skits.

WOMP: Editing & Motion Graphics

In addition to shooting and editing this episode, I also created the title design. Inspired by skate park videographers like Twister and the boys of Jackass, we wanted something that was reminiscent of Rocket Power’s montage title cards with a nonsensical twist.

KMTV: Nostalgia Graphics

In between sketches, we’re allowed a glimpse at this universe’s alternative programming. I created the graphics for an infomercial as well as a spoof on an all-too-familiar PSA.
